HENVEIRU – MFP: Sounds of champaign bottles popping with confetti blasting up with pressure was heard as the award for the BEST Maldivian film was awarded to the the talented director Fatthaah for the film Vehey Vaarey Therein (Inside Falling Rain).
The award venue was packed with mediocre dressed fans of the more dressed up celebrities. The people with no make-up stayed at home and watched it only with a very little bit of red powder (rai fuh) on their faces. Celebrities spent years planning for this night.
One actresses’s dressed was finished off only on her way to the ceremony in the limo (taxi). The tailor joined her. Beautiful patterns on the dresses. Ranging from chicken’s asses and maria careys. It was a great show. Everyone enjoyed it.
Maramiyya Films was lucky enough to snatch 8 awards including the best film award. The event was organized by Maramiyya Group PVT LTD. It’s sponsored by Maramiyya Sand Bank and it’s share holders.
